Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been in business?

Previously BOM Photography (www.bom-photo.com), Rey Paul Weddings has been in business since 2010.

What is your style of photography?

For most of the day, our approach will be photojournalistic style to tell a visual story of your wedding.  During the engagement session and wedding portraits, we will give you simple, easy instructions on how to pose to help you feel easy in front of the camera.  Lastly, we will take some creative portraits that are easy and fun.

How many pictures will I receive?

For most weddings, you will receive 700 to 1,200 edited photos.

How long will it take after the wedding for me to get the photos?  What type of files will I receive?

It takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks for the photos to be made available to you.  Once the editing process is finished, we will email you a link to a password-protected online gallery where you can browse and download the high resolution photos, as well as share them with family and friends.  All files will be watermark-free and ready to print.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, we have the industry standard $1,000,000 liability insurance required by many wedding venues.

How do I book you?

Once you decide which service and products you would like to book, we will email you a link to a website where you can review and sign the contract over the web.  Then to complete the booking process, you can mail me the check for the 40% retainer payment.  Unfortunately, we cannot hold a date without the contract signed and the retainer received.  Please remember that availability is limited and is first-come, first-serve.

Do you travel?

Absolutely.

What type of cameras do you use, and will you have any backups in case something breaks or doesn’t work?

We use top of the line Canon professional equipment, including the 5D Mark series digital SLR cameras, along with many professional quality lenses, including some of the famous “L” series.  We bring a backup of everything: cameras, lenses, batteries, lights, light stands, and memory cards.
