Waterloo Village Wedding

Photographer’s tip :

Waterloo Village is a dream wedding venue for not just the brides but for photographers as well.   It is a restored canal “village” that’s now a very picturesque open air museum that has countless photo ops in every direction.   Whether doing the first look or not, I recommend that you allocate enough time (an hour or more) to take lots of pictures around the rustic surroundings.   For Rachel and Michael’s wedding, we did the first look at the Sawmill by the lake then worked our way back toward the Pavilion, making stops at various points to take photos with the couple along with the maid of honor and the best man.

Photographer’s tip for Waterloo Village Wedding :

Toward the end of the night, the venue offers late night food options like pizza and smore stations outside.   Use this time to get a couple of night portraits.   It takes less than five minutes!
